How does one know if a REAR is from a 375hp car?

ITS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE ONLY GEAR YOU COULD GET WAS A 373 POSI. ON THE OTHER HAND I HAVE A 327-325 CAR WITH A FACTORY KK REAR IN IT AND ITS ON THE PROTECTOPLATE..

I guess I'm gunna have to REVISE the 66/67 SS Fact Book http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'm showing KK code as 4.10:1 posi for both 66 and 67 SS, and the MYSTERY CHEVELLE had a KK ( 4.10:1 posi rear )too.

and I show CU as 3.73:1 posi. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

and I still don't see how based on whether it has a KK or CU code, you can reach a conclusion as to which HP engine it had?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Rears/Gear ratios were Options in 66 and 67 SS Chevelles.

Thats not what i was trying to say Mike. I was just saying that I have a L79 67 chevelle that has a true KK 410 posi in it and thought it was odd that you could get a 410 in a small block but not a big block I WOULD NEVER DOUBT YOU MIKE!! CU LATER http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif
