The Supercar that is for sale is the same car that was featured on this site in June 2000 http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif. The current owner has asked for assistance using an intermediary rather than field inquiries himself, so please respect this request. I am not acting as the middleman, but can put you in touch with him.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a very rare, documented Baldwin Motion Supercar. Serious inquires only please. Call me at 678 560 8474h (pls not too early or too late) or email
[email protected]
Price: $125,000 (what will it be worth next year http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif)

What are the documents ??

The owner has the original invoice from Baldwin Chev listing the original owners name, options & trade in. An invoice for interstate transfer to Phila. Letter from Joel Rosen. Tune up invoice, dyno slip and several other invoices from Motion Perf. There's also other invoices for drag tires & 1 from Shaw's speed shop in Phila.
I've been advised that the price is 125K or best offer OVER $125K in case the seller gets several offers. With all this documentation, I personally think it's underpriced! JMO

Awsum..Can't beat 2 tons of fun and this is a very cool car.....although I don't share the same opinion as you do on the price !! But there is not much to compare it to either ! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif
As far as I know, they're not making these anymore.
Always wanted to say that to you.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

What was done by Motion, and what kind of paperwork did Joel give - invoices of work performed?
How does the interstate transfer from Phila. fit in?
( I think Shaw's speed shop was in Willow Grove? Not sure though. )

I am not brokering this deal nor do I have copies of the paperwork or even the sellers phone numbers. I just thought that someone from this site might be interested in the car & asked his representative if I could help out by posting it here.
Also, the reason I believe it's value is greater than the asking price is that I think it's the only car of it's type...I've never heard of another one, so it's possibly one of one! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Hope he gets whatever he wants for it....
I was considering buying a Grecian Green Motion Biscayn about 3-4 years ago. It was basically identical to the car posted here. Probably should have paid the asking price considering how values have risen.

So the broker...is calling you to tell you the owner is getting calls outside of the broker...thats odd...Jude...what is the brokers name and info ? PM me if you wish.
The broker might not be able to post on the site.

Thanks Charlie..thats what I figured...If he can't post here...he shouldn't have any representation here either.

I posted the info on this car because I thought an sYc member might be interested in it. If you wish to know the intermediary he's also posted it for sale in the classified section on the Harrell site. He has also agreed to help sell the car without any promise of a commission(as am I). So, in essence, it's really just a favor that he & I are doing for the seller, who prefers to have the calls screened.
If you feel it's best to delete all this that's fine with me. I was just trying to help. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

That seems like a very fair price considering this one just sold for $248K after B-J commision:

THat Aluminum headed L72 is a neat ride. Never thot I'd see an L72 dwarfed by its engine bay!

$248k and it's missing the rear valence ? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif It's also missing the stainless trim along the back of the hood and tops of fenders. How about the 'Chevrolet' emblem on the decklid ? 1 of 3 known to exist ? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif Dual snorkel and painted valve covers on an L-72 ? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
I guess I better hang on to mine, 'eh ?

That car was on e-bay three months ago and did not meet the reseve and only bid some where in the low fifty thousand area.I had heard the guy that had it at B-J paid eighty five thousand for the car and then had it re-painted because he did not like the paint job that was done on it.Not a bad profit in three months.Neat looking veh just a little expensive.
