Wasn't this one on eBay late last year? . Although there's no documents and his "correct block" is a '70 suffix L78, the description seems innocent enough? . No Reserve! .

I have seen this car on Ebay before and even talked to the owner about it. Looks pretty nice with an original X22 trim tag (Looks good to me), but with the wrong tach for a 375 Hp car. Probably was a 325 or 350 Hp car originally. No pics of the trans or rear axle stamping either. Also, I have not checked if the VIN falls in the range of an 01B build or matches the trim tag.

Guys,

A couple of quick observations:

The intake has the heater core plumbing on the wrong side.
I'm not sure what's up with that. Also, these heads would
have to be 12/68 or earlier ( based on 01B build date ) and
as such should have one large core plug on each end of the
head - correct? The one head clearly shows no plug. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif
