I think I have what you're looking Darren... if you have a part number I will check the garage for you.

I think it would be the same as a Z/28. 5470408 http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Darren, For sure you the 409 casting......but honestly, when there was brief discussion at www.nastyz28 on the casting dates, we never came to a conclusion. On the above example you might assume that the "202" is a julian date...but then we/I didnt know what the D 21 was.....and I never continued researching M.C. castings vs the cars they were original too.
If you want the accurate look just find the 409 casting with bleeders.

Maybe MR 70 or Rick H can explain the misc casting numbers ????

Dont know what other cosmetic items you want to correct/change on your car, but ask away....here or at the nastyz28 Original Forum.

Guys thanks for the help. On a tip I just went to Autozone. The first one the guy pulled was perfect. And if that is the julian date it is a good one that I ended up with for my car. $20 bucks, can't complain. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
