A friend took 4 cars down and broke even (nice cars too-one was '69 Hemi RR,4spd w/docs selling for ~$95K). He summed it up as a buyers auction. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Oh boy, not again. I just looked at lot 658, the Z28 RS JL8 car with a crossram and it looks like a repo crossram(can't see any casting #'s) and the brake maseter doesn't have bleeders. I have no idea if the car has any documents with it or not.

The RR,the fender tag was bogus. Color change. I think it sold for more then it was worth.. See it on e-bag real soon,im sure.
It was great to see the buyers more aware of the GARBAGE going threw the block.
I found the best car down the street at a local car show on Saturday on the way to dinner after BJ's.
The best buys were the Street Rods. Now those guys had to be crying! HALF OFF SALE !!
A few good Muscle cars but over ALL, guys got caught trying to sell &*^%. Everybody was talking about the quality of the cars and if it was quality, it didnt have paperwork.
I just tell it like it is. Sorry NO sugar coating it !!

The engine shot shows the vacuum line from the booster T'd into the line from the PCV (?) valve in the valve cover. Is it supoosed to be routed that way? Just curious.

A $232,000 '69 Z with no paperwork also has repo quarters installed nowhere near factory assembly technique, lower door skins molded smooth onto the door frames and other visible body reconstruction.........who in the hell has a quarter of a million dollars to spend on a '69 Z and find these things acceptable ???????????
And as for paperwork/documentation: GM-CHEVROLET-JIM MATTISON, PLEASE HELP US SOON !!!!!!!

I saw a few sellers buying back their own cars.
However, I did see the same guys score big hits later on.
Strange auction.

The 67 Z28 race car was sweet but it also had a cross ram setup with the cowl plenum cold air set-up. I guess it was restored to 1968 race specs.
