Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost, approximately, to ship a car from Seattle Washington to New Jersey?
Who would you recommend?

I have used Passport 4 times. They have a "get quote" on thier site.

I have used Horseless Carriage couple times now... Shipped the '69 Z28 and the old '66 Corvette Convert... Timely with good rates. They're based out of Teaneck, NJ. If you have the car shipped to their warehouse it is cheaper for you. You also get to see one of the coolest collections of war time vehicles in the world (among other oddities too). I highly recommend them!

One thing I can tell you for sure is that rates are way up due to the cost of fuel. All the carriers I recently spoke to are charging a 20-30 fuel " surcharge ". For example the best deal I could find last month Atlanta to L A for an enclosed carrier was $2500 ! And it's going to get worse.

Wow...I paid less than half of that using Intercity to transport my Chevelle from Illinois to Phoenix

I don't have to worry about it for a while now as the seller changed his mind about getting rid of the car.
