Okay...I ended up making it out to Pavillions today after all. I relieved Sam of his photo duties. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I spent the morning doing a ride to the All Harley Drags at Firebird Raceway in Chandler...as the company that I work for sponsored the drags...I stayed for awhile and watched the Nitro Harley drag bikes...those pictures are on my work camera...at work! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Okay first car...Turns out my brother Gary showed up tonight, not with the RS/SS 396 Camaro...but with the new GTO that he bought his wife for her birthday...It has some cool mods, too...Borla cat back exhaust hood inserts...K&N, custom painted stripes, etc.

Also...I hooked up with BUDNATE. It was great to see you Bud. Call me so that we can do dinner the beginning of the week.

The '68 Olds 442 is a neat car. A friend just picked it up. It's a PA car but the body and undercarriage are wonderful. 18K original miles, original paint in very nice condition. Unrestored with terrific original patina that'll knock your socks off. It's got a rather unique set of options: W30, power front drum brakes, vinyl top, am/fm, rear defogger, 8 track tape player, outside air induction (standard on W30?). There is no power steering. A real mix of luxury and performance oriented options http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif . Original owner bought it to race and exchanged the 3.42s for 3.91s. The car has plenty of curb appeal. Not the biggest '68 fan, but this one sends me. Looks menacing with the 2 large low-slung nostrils beneath the front bumper. Well he had a small setback in gettin one of his grille pieces in and being the perfectionist that he is, he decided to wait a week to show off his new beauty.
