I heard today by a couple of sources that the records to document Oldsmobiles were found, anybody else hear this?

Found is one thing....the reality of being able to sort through whatever format they may be in is another. . Don't forget there's rumours of the General having train box cars full of Chevy records too....just not feasible to have employees spend the absolute years necessary of going through them and sorting them into any kind of order to make looking up anything by Vin or shipping dates etc. . Hopefully if the Olds story is true they're on microfish or a usable format like the PHS stuff or Canadian documents are. .

If the Chevy docs were ever found 1/2 or more of the high dollar muscle especially 69 Z's would suddenly be worthless owing to their faked existance.
Also what would be really cool is that all of the faked engine stamps would become brutally obvious, so that 90% of the numbers match cars would have to have new "fake original" block stamps done.
I think there would be so much s*#t hitting the fan it would cause the most impact this hobby has ever seen.
A good thing I agree, but there would be many many "unhappy campers", and lawsuits galore.....
