D&R Classic Automotive-The SuperCar Registry -JN Automotive (HI) -Scott Settelmire from GM. I would like to send out a very greatful Mahalo to all of you for your support in the recent First Hawaiian International Auto Show which was also co-sponsored by Motor Trend magazine.

D&R provided 100 Hardback Catalogs along with DVD Catalogs and T-Shirts for the car owners/The SYC gave 40 of the SYC coins which went to car owners and younger kids who could pick out the new concept Camaro on the History of the Camaro Banner/JN Automotive Group stepped up and donated 300 T-shirts to hand out along with JN Automotive ball caps for yet again car owners. Scott Settlemire stepped up and provided outstanding support and donated some Camaro Pins/Tire tread depth gauges and some Camaro Booklets along with providing the History of the Camaro Banners.

With the support of those above the Hawaiian Island Camaros club History Of The Camaro display was a huge success. Even the Porshe and the Vette clubs car owners kept returning to check out the Camaros. Many show attendies stated our cars should have been inside with the New Car displays. Again a Big mahalo out to all that helped our club steal the show.

Below and the next few posts will be pics from the show.

The Pearl Harbor "F" Body club was invited to display some cars as well. Little story about the flag they displayed. That wall behind the cars with what looks like tree limbs mounted on the wall are really metal. They asked if they could hang their flag and i told them to go ahead. Then about 3 hours later the Convention's staff told me it had to come down since that entire wall/metal limbs and all was bought at around 750K. oops http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Then the first night, a guy stopped by and it turns out he was the org owner of the car and said he still had all the paperwork for it.

Would also like to say Mahalo to Ray and Cindy who had their custom Bike across from two of our clubs cars and not knowing I was part of the club approached me when I took down the barriers to take pics to check on what I was doing. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif Their bike was awesome and the paint was something that needs to be seen in person.

by the way one of the best parts was leaving when the show was over, Waikiki had not seen that many 1st Gen Camaros downtown since the early 70's no doubt and a lot of heads turned when we were going through Honolulu at 8:30 at night
