I found this place last week, when a member here put up some supercar pics on my home site. Since then I've met some cool people, had some good discussions, and made a few new friends, hopefully there will be more.

I really commend you guys for the time and effort you put into finding, restoring and preserving these unique peices of history.

Thanks,

Jim

Welcome Jim...these are a great group of guys...and gals, too http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Hope to meet up with you at SCR9...and bring that 68 Camaro to the dragstrip, will ya? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I'll bring it, but we'll see about the dragstrip. It will NOT be on a trailer coming into the parking lot, and it'll need to get me home again. Maybe next year, replacing the 8.2 pegleg is on next years list... if the 383 gets half a hook, i'll be pushing it home!!!

Just to let you guys know, watch out for this JimM character http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Be careful, Jim. You know how those 383s can "come apart" after a day at the strip.

Jeez, I post over here to make some new friends, and all my TC buds follow me over! I guess it's good to be famous, if only I was rich too!

Mr. Duece, thanks for the welcome. I'm in far far west suburban Chicago, town called Yorkville, south of I88, at the cross of RT47 and the fox river.

For some reason, I have only hooked up with a few chicago area TC'ers, though some have travelled from as far as Georgia to visit me, I'd very much look forward to any opportunity to hook up with other chicago area car guys!

I wouldn't exactly say you're famous Jim. I mean...we all stop to watch train wrecks too and then there's the zoo that we all go to watch the monkeys as well http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

Hey Darren, A few weeks ago I started a new job in N. Aurora off Randall and I88. When, what time? Where is Goodies? On 38, E or W of Randall?

Goody's is just a bit east of Randall on 38. It's in with the Dominick's. I am planning on going this week.
