Okay...there's a story behind this picture (I was told by a friend at Pavillions about this). It seems as though the crew who puts on this show every weekend told a guy who happened to have one of the new "bronze colored Daytonas" that he couldn't park at the car show because he didn't have a muscle car....so what did the guy do???? He contacted every one in his car club to show up at Pavillions with their Daytonas...there were cars there from West Virginia, Colorado, California...the cars took up two entire rows... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

AWESOME job, too bad I didn't get pics of the JET motorcycle and his "flame" show he had ~ 7:30 in front of McDonalds

it drew people like free beer in Death Valley during the summer

He has been out many times before and I believe he owns two of them (Jay Leno owns one as well)

In the past he was not permitted to do the flame show, but they had it roped off Saturday for this display

FYI, he tells me the range is something like 20 miles ,,,

My Mom bought a Hillman Husky (2dr. wagon) new back in the day. They were actually a pretty hearty if not fast little package. I should know as I beat the snot out of ours for years. Sorry to have missed attending the Saturday event. AS for the GTO 455, the June Motor Trend has an MTI prepared 2005 that they rated at 900HP. It is part of the tuners vs. the stock C-6 Z06. The price on the GTO tuner version was listed at $ 75,180. For that kind of money, I would opt for another Z06.
