Weird.... I responded at length to this yesterday and saw it posted and now it's gone??

13817 and the 67 show the obvious, that you have a REAL Super Sport 67 Chevelle.

bal = Baltimore assembly plant

04c = 3rd week of April 1967 assembly date

916 and 7006 are just internal assembly tracking numbers and tell you nothing specific about the car.

761 = code for a Black Bench seat interior

FF = Marina Blue Body Paint

The Broadcast sheet you found is typical Baltimore Trim Sheet, different than body/chassis broadcast sheet which may still be in the car ( top of gas tank ) and it will not tell you the HP rating of the engine which came in this car. With only 612 L-78's produced in the Chevelle in 1967, it's unlikely this is one.. and without the original engine or other form of documentation, no way to proove what it was.

Your sheet again, shows what we know from your trim tag:

a Marina Blue body paint ( ff )

assembly date of April 17th

a Black Bench seat interior by the 761 code and it is just clarified by the "A" code after that as a bench.

The Option groups:

# 2 A = UNK at this time and L = 4 speed

# 4 H = UNK at this time

all the other numbers are just internal job #'s and tracking numbers.

I have only seen a few L78 cars in 67 and they all seem to have a late may or early june build date.
