It seems Hardcore Racing Inc. felt the need to destroy a factory 69 Charger R/T. It was also a 4 speed Dana 60 car. The car was built as a General Lee by Warner Bros company General Lee Enterprises in the 80's. They only made a handful of these cars to tour the country at car shows to promote the Dukes of Hazzard. Hardcore insisted on destroying this car despite the begging and pleading of the Charger and Dukes of Hazzard fan clubs. They refused to listen to how important and valuable this car is and jumping another car was out of the question. Nobody wants to see these cars jumped and destroyed anymore.
The car was up on Ebay just before the jump. The bad part is you would be bidding on the cars condition after the jump. Here's the auction with the before pics... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...cmdZV iewItem
Here's the video of the jump itself... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKrNhRda8js
And the after pictures... http://www.cglfc.com/wforum/viewtopi...asc&highlight=

I hate this kinda stuff. The guy who was driving should be beaten to death with teaspoons! People that cant afford these cars spent there whole live dreaming about them. An people like Hardcore Racing just dont give a $h!t. These people should suffer for this, we aught to start a rising to get people to stop doing business with them. Showing people this video would make nearly everyones stomach turn! No matter if they are a diehard ford, chevy, etc fan.... people just realize that this isn't right!

It does suck that they did it on purpose.
But, I have seen people do a lot worse by accident/negligence.
The car will be sold, fixed, and will have a very cool history, and even a jump video to go with it.
I am sure we will see this car again selling for big bucks, and bragging about this jump. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Can-I-Have-It.gif

I don't know why anyone would complain, because as an owner, you can do whatever you want with your car.
Besides, it's now a prime candidate for the Camaro "re-body" scheme. Switch the VIN, the bodytags, get the crate hemi ready (of course, the original motor was "blown street racing") and abra-cadabra-- In the time it takes to start growing a mullet, 318 to R/T!
