Harold, are you taking it to Bloomington for the auction, if you don't sell it here?

No. I was planning on showing the car there this year but I have been very busy and am not taking the car.

That's too bad, I was hoping to get a peek at it before you sold it. I hear it's a beauty.

Steve,
Harold brought it to Corvettes @ Carlisle last year, thats when I saw it. This car was on ebay awhile back, I watched it bid to 155K, back then. A neat car, I was looking forward to seeing Harold and the car at Bloomington this year as well.

The car may sell and may not so I may still have it. Steve you are more than welcome to come drive car whether you are interested in buying or not. I am 50 minutes from Carlilse so if you are in the area sometime, check with me on that invitation.
As far as my selling the car I have constraints on how many cars I can have at one time.I have owned seven of the best Corvettes ever produced including a 67 435,and a 69 L88; and I have not put a total of 300 miles on all seven.I got it in my head now I want a new Z06 that I plan on driving the snot out of! Try and see what I've been missing all these years. And if does not sell I will put another 25 miles on the LS6 next year.
Harold, if you can keep the LS6 and buy a ZO6. You would then have the best of both worlds. Stop by at BG and say hello. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Great car, great color combo, thanks for the opportunity to see it up close and personal (with bifocals). Definitely the 'real deal.'

Car is still for sale. As far as price goes you got to start somewhere right? How about best offer over $150k. This is one of the best LS6 Corvettes period and probably the prettiest. The paint on this car is phenominal! Of the 188 LS6 Corvettes produced less than 80 are accounted for. I always thought this car would look good beside a red '70 LS6 in a collection. Didn't mean to turn into a salesman on you but this car is fabulous and drives out great. This Vette is a true muscle car and Duntov's last supercar.

It would look even better sitting next to my LT-1. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif If I had the cash I would be all over that. My favorite color too! Good luck with the sale.

LBM,2LZ w/nav,polished wheels.I have not even got on this thing yet and let me tell you, THIS CAR IS STUPID... FAST! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif WARNING:CAR IS NOT DESIGNED FOR IMMATURE!
My only complaint is the size of the interior compartments. As everything in front of car not tied down ends up at rear.

Yes, that is. You got some good eyes. I had car at NCRS Winter Regionals this January. Car got Top Flight award. I love going to Florida in middle of winter and its a great show!
I just drove the new Z06 this weekend along with a Ferrari F430, Lambo Gallardo, Bentley GT, Aston DB9, and Ford GT. Hate to admit it, but the Ferrari was the knockout winner IMO. In reality they were all pretty awesome, but the Ferrari felt the best. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

I see a bunch of goofballs http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif in that shot. Dick Ankenbrandt with his high dollar beer belly doing interiors on the L89 behind Harold's LS6, John 'we have issues' Ballard in the yellow shirt with his back to the camera and Dickie 'Papa Smurf' Whittington in the funny looking hat to the far right. I, on the other hand, was probably somewhere near crawling around in the dirt and filthy doing chassis.
Nice shot, nice car.

I see Frank Stech standing back there with his arms crossed talking to Ronnie Stienman. Frank owns a beautiful white Canadian delivered L88 automatic coupe and Ronnie has, among others, a beautiful 69 Z28 that was restored by Brian and Joe.

Frank, as in New Jersey? Doesn't he also have a mint '67 435HP 'vette?

Yes, he has a very nice 435 green convertible. He also has a beautiful black 390 horse coupe, an outstanding red/red L88 coupe with sidepipes and low miles as well as the Chevelle he bought new in 71 or 72. One of the very best fellows in the car hobby. His brother has a significant Mopar collection.

Brian,
I'm sure you meant more than one beer. Cases would be more like it, at east until 1700 when it changes over to the 'harder' stuff. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
