1969 Corvette gauges

I recently purchased a 1969 Corvette; is there any way to check dash gauges to see if they are working? My car's fuel gauge seems to be reading off and the oil pressure gauge doesn't move. Can these be checked; should I buy replacements or is there another course of action that you guys suggest?
I'd like to get this straightened out before I start to drive the car this summer.
