Should be 40+ Vintage Trans-Am cars on the grid along with all kinds of neat Can-Am cars and vintage racecars...anyone planning on attending?
I sure prefer this event to the Monterey Historics, much more laid back and fan friendly,we'll be leaving early Saturday morning...plan on snapping lots of pictures. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif
Wish I could be there, it's been a few years since I've been to the Wine Country Classic. Please post the pictures you take.

John ,
I will be there this weekend. Sears/Infineon is my home track. My car is not ready for Sears but I am entered and accepted for Monterey.

Hello All,
New Guy Charlie C. here (at least to this website) trying out my first post to see if I can join in the fun.....
I'll be at Wine Country this weekend but I won't be racing this particular event (timing and circumstances didn't allow my cars to be entered) and Infineon (Sears Point to me) is only 20 minutes away. I vintage race a couple of Midyears, 1965 S/B Coupe and 1967 L88 Coupe (My '65 was on the cover of the program for the 2001 Wine Country event). If I figure out how to post pics by the end of my rambling I'll show a pic of my cars with my racing rig down at Laguna Seca....
I'm an avid Corvette and Muscle car guy that's been playing with cars around the Bay Area for many years (Hello Charley, I see your name on this site all over the place.....). Got a "few" cool ones in the garages but not to the extremes of some of the SuperCars you guys keep talking about. I have killed off (parted out)a few serious ones over the years (Yenko's, Nickeys, L88 Vettes, L78 & L89 rags, etc.) but that was long before anyone really cared.... Now I mostly play with and resurrect many Cudas, Camaros, Corvettes, Chevelles, El Caminos, etc.
Enough jabber for now. I look forward to connecting with many of you interesting characters in the future! You have wonderful stories and cars to share so keep up the good work!!!

I will be there hanging out with my friend Ron Tribble who is racing his yellow #96 '67 Z-28. I agree that this is a very enjoyable event due to the laid back nature and easier access to the cars and owners.

I like both events but from a drivers stand point there is no track time at all at Monterey. I think my group doesn't even go on track Saturday. Friday practice one or two sessions. One practice Sunday and then the race.

Hello John (and others!),
I'm not going to the pre-Historics this year (time limitations) but will be at the Historics for sure. I'm supposed to be racing with HMSA the end of June at Laguna Seca but still waiting for final approval...
I'm attaching a photo so you guys can say Hi (or run away) if you see me wondering around aimlessly at Wine Country. I'm the ugly mug on the left by the car. And pleeeeeeeeeease spare me the Bobsy twin comments... The guy on the right is my racing partner and our wives and other racers gave us so much ag about our "matching" team racing gear that Damian went and bought completely different colors. Didn't help him go any faster though......
