Here are a few from "My Friend Ben". Aunt Clara mistakenly conjers up Ben Franklin instead of an electrician...
Here are a few shots of Darren's cool ride...

I don't have photographic evidence, but my photographic memory remembers Darrin driving a 1965 Malibu SS.

Thanks, pretty neat stuff.

Darren also had a Super Car...at least that was the name of the episode...Endora blinked it into his driveway...and out of the design studio where they were working on it.
Here's the "Reactor Mach II" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Mrs Kravitz's Mk.1V Wagon looks like the one going down the line in Verne's pics of last week? .
I love that '64 'Vette coupe w/ no caps, maybe has the big tank and J56? . Nice wheels on the roadster ahead of it too! .
In the street parade shot it looks like a '70 Chevy way back? . Can't be....must be a '66 Buick? .
Was this episode shot using the real soap box derby championship sponsored by Chevy? .
Sammy....Mmmmmmmm, she still looks great! .

Did Chevrolet underwrite that series through all the years?
Also, what year(s) did Derward ( sorry, Darren ) drive a
Vette on the series?

It's such a shame that they burned Samantha and Tabitha at the stake in Salem, MA a few years later.
Darren was beside himself with grief...until Esmiralda turned him into a lime green '63 slant-6 Belvedere.

Looks like a Nantucket Blue '67 327 convert (12467), no Z21 Style Trim stuff (wheelwell trim, pinstripes), but optional N95 wire wheel covers and whitewalls. Bumper guards too. Nice daily driver that runs on regular gas.

to put that many top stars in a commercial for a car. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Maybe since Chevrolet sponsored the shows themselves, the stars had a "paper obligation" to do that for next to nothing...

Hey Verne,
Another thing struck me as funny. We all know that Dan
Blocker was "given" a Z-16 Chevelle by the folks @ Chevy.
Odd he didn't introduce that particular model. I'd prefer
Liz Montgomery anyday any-way.....
Wonder what the date was for this shoot? Probably before
the Z-16's went into production anyway. They were a mid
year intro weren't they?

Steve,
I don't know much about Z-16s, except I had a chance to buy one in '74 for $1100. because the guy couldn't afford the gas! It was in very nice shape, but I was fresh out of the Navy and didn't have that much money....... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Great stuff, looks like the Corvette is a red/red 365 horse. It appears to have a 6500 rpm redline and it's not a fuelie.

Very cool!!! .
Sammy looks so great as usual!!! .
That 'Vair coupe has such a perfect stance! .
See where Blocker checks out Endora's butt? .
I wonder if this was shot at Pioneerland or whatever the name of that old western town movie location is that's going up in flames today? .
Sammy....yumm!!! .

Verne,
There were a ton of SHP cars available in '74 in the Philly
area but my Dad wouldn't let me get one. He claimed that
gas was too expensive, insurance was too expensive, and that
the muscle car era was dead! What did he know!!! Just
look at all of us today. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I knew I had this somewhere and I finally found it while watching an old VHS tape. I was lucky enough to grab a few minutes of this episode where Samantha is driving her 69 RS Rallye Green Convertible, with spoilers. The quality isn't that great cause I took a picture of the TV. But how awesome!
