It's the real deal, I spoke with the seller 8 years ago - but he was unable to find the tach at that time http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Have at it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

BTW; the deuce in the pic has not yet been found.

$504.00, and reserve not met. I guess the nicely done repro YENKO crest bezels are putting a dent in the market!

Scott, this tach is not from Luther's old deuce - but the guy who bought that deuce is the guy who is repro'ing the bezel! MikeA, you have a PM.

The car was sold over 25 years ago to someone in Bound Brook ,N.J.All the stripes & badges were removed along with the tach.

Have you ever try to locate the car?

I know Bound Brook very well, there was a 70's Baldwin Motion Camaro I remember seeing in 1975.It actually was from South Bound Brook.I know a retired cop from that area that helped me track down the owner of the Blue 454 Motion Camaro. Remember Tony Festa Marlin? Dan

MikeA, I don't think I have the vin # for the deuce that this tach is off of, so I have not searched for it. It might be ScottS' car now that we know it spent time in NJ!

No,I seen the car before I went overseas in the service at Wallace Chevrolet along with the red automatic Duece. One car was already sold (The silver)& was sitting in the back of the shop. 15 Months latter when I got discharged.A add in the paper listed a 1970 Nova LT-1 4 speed.that turned out to be the blue duece .The owner of the car was from Union,NJ & just enlisted in the service. I took over the payment book of $2200.I always use to see the red Duece at Raceway Park,Englishtown,NJ.About 9 years ago I seen the silver one at the body shop in Linden with the nose pushed in,motor seized & desperate need of paint when I droped a friend off to pick up his car.

Surely wasn't ScottS' car! That's pretty cool that you saw ole Willy out there racing at Englishtown, he ran pretty good times with the stock manifolds and tires - 13.80's at over 100 mph.

I took the picture of the silver deuce on the morning that Stan pulled it out from the back part of the lot http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif I don't the engine was locked up, but... it hasn't been torn down yet either, it only has 25k miles on it.

glad it was only grammatical error, my mental health wouldn't be able to handle such a terrible mental attack otherwise. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
