the original color is fathom green with a black vinyl top
and a midnight green interior.(from cowl tag info)

also rumor has it that a studebacker painted the same way
and name is in michigan.

I know of some Studebaker guys via Pure Stock drag racing...Ted Harbit races a supercharged '64 Stude Lark owned by George Krem that the national Sude club refers to as "the Plain Brown Wrapper"...it's painted as it left the factory, though, but if *anyone* knew of an original Stude painted up as the race car above it would be Ted Harbit, who has been setting national records and racing Studes since the early '60s...anyway, Ted lives around the Muncie, IN, area if I'm not mistaken...

certainly was NOT my intent to hi-jack this thread......but when I saw the other vintage C/SM drag car.......well hope y'all understand.
(BTW....many of the body/trim/interior parts on the above C/SM Camaro were saved and reused from the #27 ZL-1)
