Back in '72 when I got my license I put something like these on the 327 in my '69 camaro.

I know chrome was popular and recall seeing the Z/28 - Vette covers a lot. What else was available from say '72 - '75? Post or link to a pic if you can. I was thinking something like this was a bit early but maybe not, I recall BM big blocks having something like these but they said Motion on them.

My next tip back in history is what is the right Sun tach and SW gages for the same period '72 - '75? My friends '65 GTO had SW's with green in the center but I don't think they were available in the '70s. TIA,

None of you other old farts has a better memory than I do? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I figured with all the day 2 cars I've read about here over the years someone would have some input...

I have a catalog from SW from 1973 and the green lines were still available but they were called the deluxe version... As for a sun tach I would say an sst 801 or sst 802 super tach and not the super tach II... Mark

I had put a set of those on my '74 Z in the early 80's. I kept them on for a few years and sold them to a friend. I'm sure glad I hung onto the original finned aluminum covers.

You asked.....

Here is my "Survivor Class" unrestored 1969 Marx Big Wheel...LOL http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I am missing the front decals and the center console decal...they didn't hold up too well. This has the first design front mag which was later changed to a less aggresive design...IMHO.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Is that a Flat Yellow finish behind the seat,or was it originally a Hi-gloss that's faded over time? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
