Any ideas how to trace a cars owners back to 68

I have done a title search in Texas and they gave title data back to 75. Any ideas how to get from 75 back to selling dealer and owners from 68 thru 75? It's a 68 SSRS 396 4 speed convert. Was in NE Texas in 75. I posted on Camaros.net, no replies

Have you tried contacting any of the previous owners listed on the title search? I did a title search for a 1968 Camaro SS/RS that I owned and was lucky enough to contact the third owner and he sent me a picture of the car when he owned it back in the '70's. Good luck with the search.

i found the original owner of my W-31 by searching through paperwork left in the car.

there are clues in the car,if you look hard enough.
