Why do people do this. Do they think someone is gonna give them a pile of cash In case it's a legit car? They make it sound like it's a barn find by some innocent 12 year old grandson. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
....Does the "711" ....on the build sheet mean anything?
... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Is that a legit build sheet? Not much left.
According to the buildsheets' reminant information he is showing,I see that as a 1969 Super Sport Chevelle w/L-34 396/350HP engine,(Possibly L-35 396/325HP),& M-20 wide ratio Trans.w/3:55 Open rearend & no gauges.
The "711" handwritten notation is typical of Baltimore built 69 A-bodies.It's actually the last 3 digits of internal tracking code, noted on the last line of the Cowl tag,and also used as the Data Processing Seq.No.
Nothing "COPO" or "Yenko" about it.
