anyone coming for the auctions or the Monterey Historic races? if so, it would be cool to all get together one night for dinner and a few laughs?

Stefano...nice rides! I'll definitely be around to watch them go off. If your not too busy let me know if you'd like to get together for a beer. Every Thursday night 4-9pm ish there is a car show at a restaurant called The Baja Cantina...just a few miles up the Carmel Valley- next door to the Quail Lodge resort. When the races or Historics come to town, there is always a neat mix of high end cars and people that show up. Get there early if you decide to go..it only has room for about 40-50 cars.

good luck @ the auction and have a great time..the weather has been awesome here.

Any feed back from the auction this week end? Stefano did you sell all the cars?

All the cars sold as it was a no reserve auction. However; only the Yenko Camaro found a new owner.

My perspective was that if you were looking to buy a good high end car then this would have been a great weekend to be shopping in Monterey.

What do you attribute that to? Too many good cars available at the same time?

Just my observations. There were many more cars as well as registered bidders, than last year. I would be surprised if most of the auctions that weekend don't report record sales volume.

Stefano,
I tried to send you a PM but you box is full. Can you send me a PM regarding the RSZ and how well that car did in the auction? Thanks!

Stefano,
Disregard my friend! I went on the Russo and Steele auction web site and took a look at the results. My new question is, are you pleased with the results that the Z brought?

Stefano,
What was the high bid on the '65 Corvette Swiss roadrace car? I couldn't find it on Russo-Steele's website results.
