I think thats the car a friend of mine owned. He bought it from a Chicago racer Mike Dinato. It ended up having a back half put in it and being bracket raced I will try and dig up pictures of it when he owned it. Last I heard its still around

And yet here it is again. Here also are some shots of the engine. Notice the plates over the heater box and the wiper control.

Richard, that last pic looks like it's from the pits at Maple Grove?

In the first picture it looks like the car has a fiberglass nose, bumper molded into fenders. Whereas the later photos seem to show individual metal front end. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Could have changed over time I guess.

Thanks for the pictures. Any idea where the car ended up?
Here is a car that I am currently searching history on. Bothe cars are very similar but no concrete proof. There is a metal type scoop under the big glass one now. You also stated the car would have no vin would it have a cowl tag and would the car have been sold white or ?
Thanks again Richard W

Last I heard it was still on the south side of Chicago it was for sale last year do not know if it was sold or not. I do not remember about a trim tag I will ask my buddy. As far as I know they were all sold white.

Do you own that car and if so where did you get it. The rear wheel cut outs look very similiar. I know the Camaro my buddy had owned was supposed to be in bad shape last year

Look how they "Swiss cheesed" the hood latch plate. Somebody went nuts with a drill.

A racer told me this one time...

"Worry about the ounces, and the pounds will follow..."
