Spent all day Saturday at Corvettes / Carlisle. The skys were gray and threatening all day, but the rain held out. Large Crowd and as usual acres upon acres of Corvettes, vendors and Corvette Lovers. There is a real nice 911 Tribute Vette among the 77 photos. Best viewed as a slide show. Good place to sell and buy, friend of mine from Westchester Brought 4 Corvettes down Wednesday, they were all sold by Saturday when I got there. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

All you guys must have seen the chrome plated one? Thought that was the one.

Got a call from a friend, his 1985 GMC Sierra Flatbed color blue NY tags, was stolen Saturday nite after 11pm from the Ramada Inn right off Rt81. He reported it to the local PD. This truck belonged to his father that passed away a few years ago, and he has continued the business. Luckily no cars on it. Keep the eyes open. Thanx

It was a neat show with lots of cars and plenty of vendors.. Lance and the Carlisle Crew really do a fantastic job.

Anyone catch the Burn-Out contest?

I attended on Saturday as well with the wife and kids as it is only about 45 minutes from our home. We had a fun afternoon walking around, especially my 9 year old son who just ate it up. My wife and I were chuckling at what a car guy he is already. Always a nice event and kids under 12 free is great as well.

I heard some guy wanted to hear an auction car run and he reached in to start it up. It was in gear and the car started and smacked into two other Corvettes. A friend of mine called and said he witnessed the incident. The guy was not an owner and didn't have permission to attempt to start the car.

A 65 Corvette in the car corrall had sold, prior to the deal being finished someone sprayed paint remover on the back panel of the car,and the seller had to deduct the price to repair the car for the sale to go thru. Saw a 67 435 yellow convert parked in the front of the Ramada on Thursday all by itself, around 1am, a few people were wondering if it would still be there come morning. Fortunately for him he wasnt there on Saturday.
