Im moving to the other side of town and my new building wont be done for a couple months so Im selling a few cars..

1978 Indy Pace Car Corvette, This is the last Indy car they made in 1978.. It has TONS of Documention along with photo history of the car going down the assembly line and a letter from Chevrolet stating it was the last serial number produced. Car was ordered with the L82 4 speed which is kind of rare most were L48 Auto's, there were 6502 of the Pace Cars built 1 for each Chevrolet Dealer. What makes this car unique is that is has just 50 ACTUAL MILES and it has great documention because chevrolet (photo) documented the build of the car being the last one built. All paper work is original and with the car, the plastic is still on the seat, I have the plastic steering wheel cover etc.. Car is as new as the day it left the factory. Ive known the car since I was a young kid its been in my town since 1980 when it was bought with 14 miles on it. Its always been stored in a climate controlled building and runs and drive like a new car. Its kind of hard to put a price on a car like this and it should probably go to Barrett but I thought Id see if anyone wanted here before I go through the Barrett B.S. Price is 50k Firm. I think at auction it could do quite a bit more than that. Definately a unique car that is a great conversation piece. Serious Inquires only 507-208-0191

I thought Id post all of the pictures of the car at the assembly plant there pretty neat to look at..

I have real soft spot for these cars - ive owned 10 of them over the yrs and the last one i sold in 86 had 14 miles on it, with the leather/cloth seat inserts, L82 Auto. Its hard to say on the price, they never really took off like anticipated, but the pics you have are priceless...like them spaying the silver! It was like an after thought when u looked at the finish and detail.

They shipped them without the front spoilers on so they can get then on the transport...you have one real nice piece of history...beautiful car, with and without the decals!

I had a 1978 L82 I purchaed new, turned out to have flat spots on the tires. Dealer replacaed all the tires and told me that the tires were getting the flat spot when the cars were painted and baked.

Wow....such a nice car and so great the documents were all procured at the time! .

It's simply amazing especially considering all the hype at the time how here we all are nearly thirty years later w/ the opportunity to still end up w/ the last car, low mileage, docs and all!!!
