My family has owned a small stained glass business for the last 27 years and we were looking at new ideas for windows to create. One of the ideas that I brought up was creating a number of windows based on the Yenko Camaros, Chevelles and Novas in the various car colors. We have done a number of custom windows featuring other classic cars for people so I figured why not these as a production (small numbers in total) type of window. The rough size of the normal windows would be around 2'x3' wood framed with a chain to hang inside a larger picture window and custom orders would be able to be placed for larger or smaller versions or customizing to personal tastes. The price tag would be $600 to people on the site and $750 in the open market for the regular windows depending on the results from question #3. If produced they would be offered in the classified section allowing people to specify car type and color. They would also have a nice amount of detail including perhaps some glass painting to make them more realistic (same methods you see used in church windows, not oven bake type stuff). I do not want to waste time working on it if people are not interested so here are the questions before I start on design work-

1. Would people be interested in buying these?
2. Do you think the price would scare people away? Commercial studios average around $175+ a square foot at the moment for non painted/fired glass work.
3. Does anyone currently hold a trademark on the SYC logo and if so who do we need to talk to about licensing?
4. If made what would people like to see in them as far as a background, etc. are concerned?

Thanks guys,

Mike
