...welcome to the site http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
...You may want to find an edition of this book
...."The 1969 Camaro Reference Book from A to Z"
...by John Hooper
...it may be out of print but some camaro supply stores have copies
.....good luck...and send some photos when you finish it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

the reference material that i have states that the #1 car has a dana 60 differential and a turbo 400 that uses a hurst dual shifer. the photo's i have from the net dont show the differential but show a hurst quarter stick shifter on the tansmission tunnel

After meeting Bill in person a few years ago at Vettefest I can assure you he probably would not share details of what you are looking for. Nothing personal but he ( and I totally agree and now do the same ) has put a whole lot of time and money into the car and is very careful about anybody copying what he has done.
ZL 1 #1 is an incredible looking car. By far the most impressive looking Camaro I've ever seen.
