I have to replace a windshield on the 68 Camaro. Is there more than one vendor for repro replacement glass? If so who is best? And how close is the repro to original? I would like an original piece of glass but that is probably hopeless?

Hugger performance makes glass and I have seen a piece go into a 69, but the glass was thicker and the trim was a little higher then original.... Original glass can be found but the hard part is going to be dated glass to your car... Do you have clear or tinted windows??? I can check around here and give you a number to call if I find some... Pilkington was the supplier of the factory original glass and still make it today. Just give them the codes off your glass or figure out what date code you need. They were real easy to work with. I bought both door glasses and windsheild from them and they look just like the came on the car 36 years ago.

Only problem is they cant reproduce the Astro Ventilation
Logo on the front drivers and pass glass for my 68.
