I know this car also, owned by a good friend for many years.
This car is exactly what he say's it is.
This seller spent a few years talking my friend out of it.
Really a shame, cause this guy said he was ALWAYS looking for a car like this,
and absolutely wanted to keep it for himself.
Is this what the hobby has come to? Buying cars just to flip them?
No one wants to buy a car to enjoy it.
Unfortunately, the hobby is now just about the money. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

This was an early build before they went to the dual snorkle air cleaner?

Definitely a nice car. But the component dates seem to be all over the place. Was the car previously raced and highly modified? I couldn't see in the auction what the build date was for the car itself but the VIN looked like an early car.

Let August 69 block cast date, early Sept 69 engine build date, early Jan 70 rear axle date.? Somebody must have stashed that completed engine somewhere in the bowels of the assmebly process.!
