I'd like to know what it went for as well. If anybody went and took pictures of it, post them if you don't mind. The pics on the Mecum site are too small to see the detail, although there are a few things visible that are not factory.

I hear it wasn't that nice, but it went for $52,000

Yikes, $52k for not that nice and not original factory stuff?! I hope the person that got it doesn't know anybody that knows anything about those cars. He won't be thrilled with some of things he'll have to replace.

I saw the car and I liked it alot even though I'm told there were some things not correct about it. Ya gotta love those old Biscaynes with big motors in them! I have pics but it keeps telling me the files are too big even after I re sized them down to 640 x 480. If someone can tudor me as to what I need to do, I'd be happy to post them.

Thanks for posting them. Thanks for helping Bruce! Now I can see what else is missing/changed. The pictures on the auction web site show it with a dual master cylinder and chrome air cleaner lid. Now they have the single master in it. I didn't notice the swiss cheesed upper alternator bracket before...interesting.

And 1 more rare one....this is a Cutless F-85 W31 The owner of this car told me that this car is one of two non Chevy cars that were ever painted Rally Green from the factory. This was really one very cool car!!!
