Looks like an early 60's Pontiac or Buick Dash (Knee Knocker) Tach

Hi Bruce, our son, back from his 2nd Iraq trip now stationed in WA as a recruiter so we decided to get a bit closer. Still trying to hook up with one of you guys in southern WA.

-----That is a Pontiac tach but part of the face has been painted white for some odd reason. It should have the Pontiac logo on there. The bracket appears to be the correct bracet for hanging the tach in the far left corner of the dash........Bill S

Maybe you should go back to the home of the garage sale and see if you can trace the tachs original mounting place. Never know what you might find? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Well you guys are right again. The face has been painted white and if I hold it to the light I can read Pontiac under the white paint. A+
