In this Novembers 2006 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines,editor George Mattar mentions that he has 4 "celebrity" surprises for us all.Beginning next month,Don Garlits,Shirley Muldowney,Don Prudhomme and Joel Rosen will each submit an article respectively to be featured in their own column about their own lifes exploits from back in the good ole days.
George mentions that Joel Rosen is a particular Hero of his,as he grew up as a young boy over there and would admire the machines emerging through the bay doors onto Sunrise Hwy.
He then goes on further to ask if there are anymore Original SuperCar/Musclecar owners who still own their cars today,to send in their stories and pictures by Jan.15th,2007 to be featured in next years issues.
