Welp, the Cardinals pulled one out tonight! From the marginally best team in a garbage division to the World Series!

But I think trouble lies ahead in the Tigers...oh well, that's why ya play the game(s), right?!

Let's go Redbirds! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Go Tigers! I grew up in Lansing MI and remember the Tigers series in 1968.

I realize Kenny had his way with the Cards even after he washed his hands off, but I'm wondering why the umps didn't check his hands when Larussa complained? On Sportscenter this morning they showed pictures from both the previous playoff series and the same stuff appeared in the same spots on his palm... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

And both Kenny and the umpire rep had 2 different stories, each? They did talk to him, they didn't talk to him...??

Mets/ Tigers would have made a better series. The best teams do not always win

Tell that to the Pistons and the Red Wings. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
Don't tell the Lions anything. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The best team, hands down, would be the Yankees. But as you say, the best teams do not always win.

Welp, Geoff, looks like you were right...the Cards only need 5 games to get it done! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
