I thought some of may be interested in seeing a project we have nearing completion down here in the Space City. This thing is going to be one of a kind when completed. 568 all aluminum blown Donavon. 1100hp on pump gas. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

The pictures don't do it justice.

Rick... That thing is too clean for racing http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

While we're on the topic of race cars... Rick, can you explain
the difference in wheel allignment caster between a typical street
driven muscle car and a full blown drag car like this one...

Thanks for all the comments. I wish I could say that I was the driving force behind this project but I'm not. It's the brain child of one of my partners down here Sam Palazzolo. I stick to the stock appearing cars but he has a real talent for crafting some of the most, outrageous, over-the-top, pump gas street machines imaginable. Originally the plan was to build a 63 split window. The only inspiration I offered was the look of my first ZL-1 powered Camaro. After I finished that car he was hooked on that Hugger Orange, Plain Jane ZL-1 look. I think that was a good call. It's not being built to race and won't make more than 2-3 pass in the 1/8th to dial it in. It's being built to drive, like Power Tour drive, believe it. RS option with All stock deluxe black houndstooth interior except for the gauge cluster and oh yea the back seat. I'm not aware of anything that could be done to this project that is not being done. Absolutely the best of everything. I don't think I've ever see a polished stainless rear-end before. His only regret was that his Donovan block did not look nearly as nice as the new GM ZL-1 blocks. O'well get over it. Sam has a short attention span so I'm sure this baby will be for sale long before it has 500 miles one it.

Thanks
Rick

I'll give that one a shot and wait for the correction. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

That front end doesn't look like it would have a whole lot of adjustment to it so I imagine it's built with a little positive caster to keep it going straight.

That car is a monster. Definitely not going to sneak up on anybody. I wonder how hard it is to drive on the street with those huge rear slicks and that blower sticking out of the hood? And obviously strapping an air filter on that beast would be impossible so I guess that limits the miles it could or should be driven, or does it?
