71 Z28 Column shift auto

Redneck (Ken Shupe) is on his way home with a new acquistion... a 17,000 mile one owner 71 RS/Z with Column shift auto and 4.10 gears. Guy says that he bought it like that because he thought it would be faster at the drag strip (says he ran a 13.4 back in 1972). I am going to take some pictures in a few hours and will post them later.
The car has been parked since 1992 when the starter reportedly went out. It was driven 14,000 miles in the first year then not driven much since.
It was painted in 1991 red over the original Nevada silver.
Very original but needs paint and at least the drivers seat cover.
Will post more info when I see the car.... they are still out there...

Good stuff! a Tree shifting auto is tough to come by.
