By the way BP stands for "blister pack", the original packaging the cars came in. Actually I still have all 100+ of my family's HotWheels including a purple OpenFire, the same model in the auction, which was part of the 1971 model line. It's not in its original wrapper but in very nice shape otherwise. It is amazing what these babies are going for now.

I know this is off topic but I thought I would share the Bottle Rocket and Drunken Neighbor story.
A friend of mine went down to his shore house for a holiday weekend and his next door neighbor decided
to have a party and fireworks display. A bottle rocket went astray and went through my friends window

I guess we were crazy when we were kids. We played with every toy we ever got. And the first thing we did was take them out of the packaging. We would leave stuff outside in the rain and things would get run over by bikes or cars. So I don't need to go looking for any hidden treasures at my parent's house.
