Found a new toy, a local one-owner car which has been garaged all its life. It's a 69 Nova, and has its original Olympic Gold paint, along with the original 307 and powerglide, original bucket seat / console interior, well, you get the idea!
Here are a couple of shots, taken in the rain last week - picture quality is not great http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

What a sweet car...man, when I moved to Los Angeles in 1996 you could find this stuff pretty regularly, but now? Times have sure changed.

Thanks guys - no more pics yet, too busy to pick it up this weekend. I plan on running it like it is for a while. (Actually, since this is Seattle, I will probably just clean on it a little for the next few months). Eventually I will replace the drive train to make a nice long-haul cruiser - I'm thinking a healthy small block, automatic with OD, multi-leaf rear (probably an 8.5 inch ten-bolt) and a nice set of 15" vintage wheels. I have to decide if I want to go "old school" carbureted small block and run 12's, or go "modern" with an LS2 and injection and go for 11's..

COOL! I have her sister sitting here in Illinois!

Those one owner, original cars are a pain in the butt! I'd love to step up the performance of mine, but just can't make myself mess with the originality!

Do what makes you smile Sam, and keep us posted. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

It's moss alright, that's how we can tell the North side of the house! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

We don't get to use the sun for finding our direction out here.

Darren, come on by and I'll help you pull off the parts you're looking for. It's just an old big block Camaro, nobody will care anyway! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
