’69 RS Z28, Daytona Yellow, yellow houndstooth, 54k actual, documented miles. Spoilers and working cowl hood (original to car). Tach and gauges. No PS. VERY REAL, HONEST CAR, mostly unrestored (orig RS hoses, headlight doors, wiring harnesses etc.), with real original window sticker (laminated), 2nd owner POP, owner history, mileage documented on numerous title copies. Born–with matching engine, trans and rear. GM quarters and fenders in ‘80’s. No bondo or bubbles anywhere on exterior. Floors and trunk original and nice. X3 crayon mark on trunk divider. X33 May Norwood. All original upholstery and interior except carpet, dash pad, package tray. . Older repaint with some checking on hood stripes but nice yellow gloss. Straight body with a few flaws. Wrong: wheels, carb, distributor, pulleys, radiator & misc. small items. Has headers and flowmaster exhaust. Needs underhood detail. Sharp, nice 10 foot driver or restore this super rare color/option combo. $68k firm. Serious only, please.
Lots of photos and info I want to know when I buy a car:

Very nice car. My favorite color combination. I'm sure sorry I didn't buy Charleys' car when he offered it to me. Sure brings back memories.

Beautiful. Nothing like a Daytona Yellow 69 Camaro. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Thanks for the positive comments. It is just a #3 car, but very real and honest. Something needs to go, here. I'll take $63k.

Dave, I must also applaud you, for the manner in which you took the time to present the facts and pictures to represent your car for sale. This will hopefully save you wasted and others wasted time now in transacting a sale or NOT!!!!!

It's now on eBay.

I've had interest (how many Daytona Yellow, Yellow Houndstooth REAL RS Zs are out there??!), but haven't wanted to take the offers. I don't mind losing some money on it, but I'm not ready to lose a bunch. I'd really like to sell it this year so I can take the loss off of this years taxes. Uncle sam taketh away (notice I left out the "giveth" part that usually preceeds the "taketh" part.......). http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Dave,
Certainly a rare and cool color combo. There was at least one 9561 Copo that was yellow/yellow and another that was orange/orange. Good luck with the auction.

I am at a loss why this car is still for sale. This is twice the car when compared to the orange RS Z/28 at half the price. Good luck with the sale and please hurry. My wife will leave me if I bring another camaro home. So many nice cars popping up and so little money.

So, Mark, the question is, which is easier to find: a Daytona Yellow/ Yellow Houndstooth RS Z or another wife?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Stefano: Thanks for the info. I really didn't know there was a Yellow/yellow 9561, but I must admit that I worked that into the eBay listing for the keywords. eBay will boot the listing now if you just put in a string of keywords......

It would be much easier to find another wife but by the time the current wife is done with me I will have no money to buy anything.

I just figured that I'd let you know since you have the color combo in common. Very rare. I remember that Reggie Jackson/Chip had a Z28 at Auction quite a while back that was also that color combo, but I can't remember if it was an RS or std Z28. I do remember trying to buy/bid on it so I would have to have been documented.

I remember them also having a RS/SS with a ZL1 motor with the same color combo that I looked at a few years ago. I think that was sold at an auction also.
