What an ego-shattering experience for the Porsche owners. If that were my video from my Porsche, it would have been destroyed and never reached the Interent. Public humiliation on a grand scale that could only be matched by a video of a man's failure to ..........never mind.

Check out the pictures of the build, they put an awful lot of man-hours into this project. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Click on the "Projekt" tab an see how it was put together. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
The '62 Split-window VW microbus, or "Baby Maker" as it was sometimes reffered to, was a deathtrap vehicle. My first thought was what kind of roll cage did the put in this thing. Your knees were the first line of defence in a frontal collision. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
It would roll like a loaf of bread if it went sideways, and it only had like 48 hp, so it was prone to causing roadrage. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
Hence the nickname, since it did its best work parked in the woods as a camper. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

yes, the rollover, been there, done that, chasing the school bus one sept morning upstate NY. We all survived, gash in head, one broken arm, five ejections, no seatbelts. Dad thought it was so great he went on to own two more. Then he rolled a beetle on NYC cobblestones. We can laugh about it now. I traded my third bug for a motorcycle when the family gave me Ralph Nadar's book "Small on Safety".
