In an effort to reduce my collection down to a more managable number of cars, my Super Duty recreation race car is for sale. This car has a completely fresh engine with only two test runs on it. It has several rare factory parts that were installed in the early days when it was campaigned in the Chicago area under the name "TWO TON FAKER".

Although currently set up for the strip, converting it to a street rod would be very easy. Unfortunately, it's a car I wish I had time to play with!

It's currently restored to a high level of quality..... both cosmetics and mechanical. The color is the factory aqua that it come with originally.

Some of the cars highlights in it's current configuation:
- RARE POST CATALINA.
- 439 CU. IN. STROKER MOTOR BALANCED, BLUE PRINTED, SQUARED AND DECKED BLOCK, PISTONS ARE .005 IN HOLE.
- VERY RARE FACTORY ALUMINUM FRONT FENDERS, HOOD, CORE SUPPORT, AND SPLASH PAN.
- FACTORY CAST ALUMINUM SUPER DUTY EXHAUST MANIFOLDS.
- 980 RARE FACTORY HEADS PORTED.
- FACTORY 859 DUAL QUADS INTAKE.
- CAR RAN AN EASY 11.8 1/4 MILE IN TEST RUNS WITH CURRENT ENGINE.
- JERECO 4-SPEED AND SHIFTER.
- CUSTOM DRIVE SHAFT.
- ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP, 1/2" LINES.
- McCLEOD CLUTCH.
- HAYS LIGHTENED FLY WHEEL.
- LAKEWOOD SCATTER SHIELD.
- 5.14 REAR END (SPOOL.) WITH SUMMERS BROTHERS AXLES.
- ROLL CAGE.
- SILVER FIBERGLASS BUMPERS.
- RADIO AND HEATER DELETE.
- TRUNK MOUNTED BATTERY.

Offered at $55,000.

Besides, the aluminum front end car in your future is not a Pontiac... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
