From the current Hot Rod Magazine Camaro 40th anniversary special issue. March, 1967 Dana Chevrolet lineup including two brand new RS/SS 396 Camaros, one SS 427 Impala and another Impala. First Camaro is a drum-brake car, second has front discs, a different style of redline tires, and headrests.

Very cool. I wonder if the '67 SS427 has ever been found. I personally know of none that were from Dana. Neat photo, thanks for sharing.

------Great pic!!! First Camaro has Firestones. Second has Goodyears. Would love to find a set of NOS Firestone redlines with the stripe way out on the sidewall like that. Havent seen any in years with the exception of a low-mile 66 Fairlane GT at B/J a couple of years ago........Bill S

I'd love a set for my '67 396. There is a survivor '67 RS/SS 396 BY/black top out there with the wider Firestone redlines--original to the car I think.

Bruce: Yeah, finally got around to posting this pic. My jaw hit the floor when I opened the magazine and saw it.

Here's the survivor '67 I was thinking about. Article says the tires were NOS items acquired at "great expense." From Cars and Parts, 8/98.
