Could someone please post pictures of the fuel pump-carb fuel line setup where it connects to the brass fitting on the intake and then runs back to the secondary metering plate? The stainless one that I bought from a vendor is way off,it appears that the short piece of line that connects the front metering plate to the brass t fitting is just too long.It's length causes the fitting to be over so far that I think it may hit the valve cover,which in turn cause the secondary line to not line up with the fuel line brace.I double checked the tag on the vendor's back and it says it's for my engine{ls6 w/long pump}

I ran into the same thing when I re-did the lines on my LS-6...I don't remember what the problem was, but I ended up having to order a *different* set of LS6 lines...

Rob, did you get your fuel line parts from Year One? I remember redoing the fuel lines on my friend's LS6 car about 8 yrs ago and had all kinds of problems making them fit. If memory serves me, it had more to do with the depth of the threads and flare seat in the brass block than anything. I also gave up on the stainless and went with the carbon steel lines. To Year One's credit, they were very sympathetic and good to work with. They eventually found someone's LS6 Chevelle in GA and physically installed the lines and block on that car before they sent them to me, to ensure that they would work. Or at least that's what they told me http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I got these lines from Ground Up, who in turn got them from Fine Lines.

Try contacting D&R Classic Automotive,one our sponsors here,and tell them what you have now and what you want exactly.
I bought a set from them a few years ago,and they went the extra mile to make sure they would fit proper...and they did.
They cater to other GM cars besides the Camaro. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
