Congrats...these are VERY cool cars! .
Although not like a '67, the '68's have a unique hood too although more subtle...can't wait to see your pics! .

Yea....the 67 is sweet. Here I am on Christmas Eve with sugar plums and bigblocks dancing in my head hoping that Santa had a 68 SS427 in his sack for me! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
Pete, my 67 is also a Oshawa-built car 427/385 M40 with engine block heater. No need for that in the States! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

I was already admiring your '67 the other night in the background of your engine posting pics Jeff! .
Not to hijack this thread but if you can do it, can you post some close up shots of the hood and trim from inside and out!? .
Maybe Jim can do the same with the '68...I'd love to see more details of both years of these unique hoods!? .

Quick question Jeff on the old 71 pic. Were your louvers on the fenders factory fitted chrome as shown not painted. I have seen them both ways and am not sure which is 100% correct. All depends who I ask

It's probably a different car but perhaps it's that '68 Chevy that's peeking out from behind the '71 T/A that's in front of the '70 Chevelle that's beside the '69 Chevy...yes the one in front of the '72 Chevelle that's ahead of the 71/72 truck that's in front of what looks like it could be a '35 Ford...what's the flamed one beside it, it looks too high to be a '67 Camaro? .

You had to go over to the cars for sale thread for the 71 T/A...This is what Jim posted about another "new" purchase.

Its now at home in Klunkersville !!! We had a deal until the Poniac expert that wasn't even bidding told the owner where to look for the vin number . We had looked at the car before it met reserve and made a deal , that went south when he discovered the vin at the pan rail Thanks !!! We still made the deal for more money and here it is . Wheres Klunkersville , Steve Shauger, Ken Pascoe, Frank Arrone, Bob Johnson, Chuck Hanson, Jeff Dotter, Jerry Macneish, and Don White all know where the field of dreams is !!!! Pictures are under Look what followed me home today

Isn't that the T/A that was for sale on Ebay? That car seemed like a good deal.
I sent You 2 sets this was the second set I'll resend the SS427. This followed me home just after the 68 its the 71 455HO T/A that was on e-bay that was listed as not numbers matching. The owner didn't know where the vin was. We bought it then he discovered the vin with the help of a Ponitac expert that wasn't bidding cost more, but a super solid 54,000 mile car. Just the quarters are bad. The cowl and windshield that were discussed under the for sale area are super just was covered in dirt and squirrel nestings. Killer find!!!

Good call Pete ! Yes the 70 is a #'s SS396 elco, The 69 a 427 Caprice, the 72 a loaded up Concours estate, the 72 truck a #'s 400 BB, the 35 Ford a 21 stud 3spd with wires and last the Flamed car a 69 Charger 500 that I just sold. A '69 500...I just didn't have my Mopar cap on but should've known better with that flush looking grille area! . What motor was it and an XX or XS Vin car? .
And sorry on missing the '69 ragtop...I should've F-11'd my screen first! .

Great find! I know the drag guys told me they like the 68 over the 66 for weight transfer and performance. Looks like the wait was worth it! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Cool Jim...just after yesterday's Ford discussion and results, I'm afraid if I express too much liking for the big window Charger, some fella' named Dodge may pass away? .

They were chrome. Sherwood Allen used to tune it for me and always got a charge outta what a bad muther it was for a big car. Even had Pos-A-Traction tires on it ~ front and rear! God...I wish I knew where it ended up http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
(and no....she wasn't me girlfriend! The sea hag in the front seat was the mother of older women who "liked my shifter" when I was just 19....but, thats another Forum! lolololo) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Not thinking of buying but remembeing when I had big blocks and small ones all over but nota today. I left 67 to 69 Camaros Elcamenos and Chevells and turned to chevy trucks because of money and the terrain. So I miss the muscle cars that I LOVE all day long. Im not done. I got a 67 camaro on the making and I want to make it with it so I will keep trying. If I get it then yenko.net will get my pictures because this is about as good as it gets. Smam block to me.

Theres something about changing what you say in a special amount of time but I can only change this. I ment small block and switch pitch turbo400S .Get it got it good. Put this where it belongs. I call them special turbo 400s. lets have yenko.net tell the world about the transimssions under the folder transmissions and make the folder called automatic trans.

I was just going to post about the Iten tag. They just sold? I grew up w/ the kids that were probably close to running it by now (Rinkel family). Lol...I have some teen based Iten car stories from the '80's that are kinda fun.
I should try to get in touch w/ them again quick. Any story to the Iten sale?
Great score on the car. Nice to see it still so intact.
