I am looking at the repros from D&R. Anyone here used them? If so, what do you think of them? I have a set of originals from a 69, but they are kind of pitted. MacNeish says they can be reskinned, but some of the pits will still show, and I don't want no stinkin pits. Thanks.

Go with the repro's, I think the current versions have corrected the driver's side leak issues.

I agree. The new repos are pretty good. We cleaned them, as they come with quite a bit of oil on them, and sprayed them with POR manifold cast, cut with just a little thinner. Keeps them looking nice longer.

Tony,
I plan on using the repro's on my 70 Z. They look good and although there is a couple of differences between the repops and originals unless you know what to look for you can't tell.

Excellent way to save some money to be spent elsewhere, such as correct trim rings, center caps, wheels and wheel PAINT..........

Speaking of wheel paint. My wheels are ready for paint and I need to find a place to get the correct paint for these 70 Z rally wheels. Any one? Sorry Tony, not meant to rob your thread.
