Anybody else like to explore old junkyards? There not many left that are old or will let the public even thru the gate anymore. Man, I found a great one in the hills. Thought I'd post a few pics if your interested. This yard has been around for years as evidence shows...

John,
Great pics, thanks for sharing. Wish I could go walk around there.
Are those original spiral shocks on the back of the 69 SS Chevelle? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I'm really overwhelmed with looking for "stuff" in this yard. It's about 30 acres of hills and hollows with, I'd guess" over 1000 cars. It was really to warm to crawl around as it's copperhead and rattler country and it was in the 60's. Here are a few more....

John,
Great pics! It's been many years since I have been in a "yard" like that one.

For all you folks who think mankind is gonna somehow ruin Mother Nature I quote from above... [ QUOTE ]

Take a picture of the top of that tree. Is there a 283 sitting up there? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

<font color="blue">I just don't get how the yard owners let
that happen. Why not just let people come &amp; get stuff.
Those cars don't look to be in that bad a shape;
considering the amount of time they have been there.

They should a "Barrett-Jackson" Beginner Series there!
