Fortunately my boys are 2 and 5 so their little hands can take over cleaning the wheels now. It will take time but it will be back to new some day.

Lewis, Terrific shots. Good to hear your persistence paid off. Have fun with the resto and all that little help you'll be getting. Keep us updated. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Love the before pics...definitely evocative of a simpler, slower time. Good luck with your project!

An idea would be replace what needs to be done in the interior. Get the mill up and running or get a crate 350. Then, drive the car and enjoy it.

Sure the body has some rust but with the true value of the car being sentimental value it would be best to get her on the road. You can then fix or replace things as you go.

Good luck with it!!!

I agree with autoinsane. You need few things. A gallon of Simple Green. A Notebook to write down what you need, and a new digital camera to document it all. Once you clean it all up...I think you'll be suprised...Congrats...and enjoy it.

I love it! That's great you have those pictures. Now you need to restage the first picture with you all grown up!
