Gents,
I've bee lousy at updating folks of my project since answering this add on sYc (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB3&Number=185899&Search page=1&Main=185899&Words=+Mike+Petrillo&topic=&Sea rch=true#Post185899) nearly a year ago.
Project is rolling along nicely. Here are a few pics of the car as of last week. Paint goes on in two weeks. As you may have read in the last edition of Chevy Punch, Micky Hale and the boys have done a superb job on getting the body made ready for concorse ready finishing....looks like the car will be on display (as an "in process") at the Autoroma show in Cleveland in March. Thanks to sYc/TC/CRG members for any and all input thus far http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Gents -
Thanks for the words of encouragement...always reassuring to get a http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif from the subject matter experts. Thanks to all.

I'll continue to add to this thread as the project progresses...
Some pics of the under carriage/overspray, and floors. I'm thrilled with the end results - especially after seeing the inprocess pics (Jan edition of Chevy Punch (http://www.chevypunch.com)

Looks like PPG product from the looks of the back of that "101" manual. Altho, it was upside down! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Lee - great update. Car is coming along fine. Keep us updated. We can't get enuff of this stuff. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Yes, we use PPG products. LOL, good pick up on the upside down manual, no wonder these guys dont understand the tech sheets. Car is in wet sand/ buff mode now and will be trimmed out by the end of the week and beginning assembly next week. See how much we can have ready for our booth in Cleveland in a few weeks. Will also have a Pro Touring Chevelle entered in the show.

Agreed, and so does that Fathom Blue piece peeking through the windows of the paint booth. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Color is actually a newer Chevy color Arrival Blue, with white/siver pearl stripes. Its looks killer in person too. I am doing a convertible 70 with a 572 crate enigne and fuel injection in the same combo now. The customer seen the HT and had to have his like it.

That color combination looks great Micky. A would also imagine there is just a little more horsepower there then the last time I rode in it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif
