LS 6 El Camino Value???

Just wondering if anyone has seen any recent sales on LS 6 El Camino's. I can't find anything that has changed hands recently? Any ideas on a ball park price range for them?

There have been a couple as of late but I am not sure of the dollar amounts but traditionally they do not bring nearly what a coupe brings. Chad and I both recently passed on an original paint (Shadow Grey), build sheet car with an LS-5 installed. The car would have been a pretty simple restoration but the $35k asking price was a little heavy. I was thinking more in the upper teens, Chad was thinking in the mid twenties. The engine was just found for that car so it makes it a little more inticing but still too heavy in my opinion when you add the cost of the engine to the overall price of the car. As far as what they are valued at I would say that honestly depends on the day of the week. $40-$70k depending on how nice a restoration and documentation would be my opinion.

Thanks for the info Rick, some guys have been telling me they've passed the coupes due to being so rare, but I wasn't sure? I have a guy that has one thats been in captivity for quite some time, and he may let it go but I wasn't sure what a fair price would be. It's an all original black on white 4-speed and is supposed to be pretty nice.

Shawn Go get that car if its documented. These cars demand more money then a coupe.
Just a few of these have come out and I dont think we will see to many after this !! For years you couldnt find these cars, while we could get 10 coupes a month !!
