I think those are OTR aluminum trailer panel rivets on the trim tag. Nice work!

Good grief.
And you never know, the seller himself might have just bought it thinking it to be a z/28.
I'm gonna keep an eye on that one, see what its final sell price is.

Cowl tag matchs the build period of the VIN and is very possibly the orig tag to the car. I dont get where you are going with this? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Just because he re-riveted it back on???

I wondered the same thing. It looks like a pro-touring street rod conversion, so how the trim plate attaches or whether it's original to that car probably doesn't much matter to the owner or prospective buyer. Looks like a fun driver/cruiser.
